The Greater Austin Metro Area offers many fantastic areas just outside of town. Best of all, with Austin's new toll road system, residents in both the north & south suburbs of Austin can easily commute into town for work or pleasure. These apartment communities & rental homes are fantastic options!

To the north, the Round Rock, Pflugerville, or Georgetown apartments & rental homes provide a quick drive to the many high tech employers on Austin's north side such as Dell, IBM, Freescale, Apple, & more. Cedar Park & Leander are northwest of Austin, and provide the same easy commute to these employers, and will open a light rail station in 2008 that will offer an extremely easy commute to downtown Austin.

South Austin suburbs also offer fantastic options to renters. Many Texas State students choose to live in Kyle or Buda in order to work in Austin (to the north) and take classes at TX State (to the south.) There are also many employers on the south side of Austin that residents of Kyle & Buda choose to work for. These employers include the State of Texas, AMD, Freescale (south location,) Capital Metro, & healthcare providers.
